Spring Flowers Ikebana Inspired Workshop
Come and learn the classic Japanese flower arranging technique of Ikebana & then have the pleasure of creating your own spring flowers arrangement in that style.
Join Philippa at the Stems & Vines pop-up in the Askew Gallery for a glorious afternoon of delicate & intricate flower arranging inspired by Ikebana.
Saturday 12th April, 3-5pm
There will be a glass of Champagne on arrival, and some delicious Nibbles & British Charcuterie to welcome you as Philippa demonstrates the technique.
And as part of our “Creative Collective”, Stems & Vines have collaborated with Athene Ceramics, a local ceramicist Abi Lawrence to give you the option of UPGRADING to one of Abi’s gorgeous pinch bowls to create your arrangement in. They are utterly gorgeous and we will have a selection of Purple, Blue or White to compliment your flower selection.
If you know you’d like one of Abi’s stunning bowls you can choose that in your ticket price, and that will help to make sure we have enough of the right colours. BUT we will also have the ability to upgrade on the day.
This workshop is suitable for people aged 14 + as we will be using sharp tools.
If you don’t drink, or don’t want the Champagne, we will provide you with alternatives to the same price.

Workshop Places are non-refundable, however if you are no longer able to attend please let us know as we may be able to resell the tickets - IF we are able to resell the tickers, we will then be able to refund the monies to you.
